Recent development of the smart technology led to the rapid development in massive data processing, communication, etc. and their related application fields. Especially, the 3 dimensional geospatial information in geoinformatics are actively applied in every field of the society such as land management, disaster management, national defense, and various administrations. In this regards, the need to rapidly generate the high-quality geoinformation is increasing. The current technology for the geoinformation construction such as aerial LiDar and/or pictometry are proper for the large area surveying, but it is not economically efficient for many small area surveying. In addition, MMS that is recently used to construct the 3 dimensional geoinformation, has limit to map the area where the car cannot access, laser does not reach, and occultation occurs. In this study, the ground MMS data and 3 dimensional laser scanner data are integrated to generate the high quality geoinformation rapidly in small area. The roads and topographic 3 dimensional data is acquired by ground MMS, and the images and points data for the individual object is acquired by laser scanner. The Total Station and GNSS surveying are conducted for the data verification, and the accuracy and reliability are checked at each data processing step in post-process mode. The processed data are finally integrated to generate a 3 dimensional object model. The 3 dimensional object model constructed in this study shows the positional precision of 5 cm satisfying the regulation of the digital mapping established by Korean National Geographic Information Institute. Furthermore, the model shows high details close to the object in reality. It is expected that the high-quality 3 dimensional geospatial information would be constructed through the process suggested in this study more rapidly and with much less cost than the aerial LiDar and aerial surveying, especially for the small and local area.
