This study looked into horticultural therapy influences causing curiosity and attention concentration of toddler of careful class.
We progressed six programs that pressed flowers, flower arrangement, terrarium, topiary, succulent and winder, and composed low, middle, high level each program and performed 18th programs. After we divided into control group and experimental group for accomplishing purpose of the study, it was compared and analyzed.
We used FAIR attention concentration test, plant interest test, sentense completion test and horticultural therapy test(KHY) for evaluating the effect of horticultural therapy.
In the result of FAIR attention concentration test, the control group indicated significant changes in the Understanding, Selection attention, Self control and Endure attention. The experimental group indicated 0.047 that significant at *P<0.05 level in the Self control otherwise control group. Also, average indicated 0.016 that significant at *P<0.05 level. As a result, attention concentration was improved.
In the result of plant interest test, the control group indicated no changes in the 9 items and rather 1 item got worse during experimental days. The experimental group indicated significant changes in 9 of 10 items. As a result, plant interest was improved.
The sentense completion test organized sentense of individual, family, number of positive expression. As a result, the control group wasn't significant in all items. The experimental group indicated that sentense of individual expression was 0.000 that high significant at ***P<0.001 level. The sentense of family expression indicated 0.025 that significant at *P<0.05 level. The number of positive expression indicated 0.000 that high significant at ***P<0.001 level.
