This article aims at analyzing the relationship between music education and youths emotion and the influences of the music education on forming teenagers’ feeling.
Through the literature review, relationship between education and teenager’s emotion is summarized. On the basis of these literature review, four hypotheses were established. These hypotheses were tested by SPSS package.
Questionnaire was composed of 20 items such as demographics, contents of music education and interest, teenager’s emotion. Likert’s 5 Scale was used. Validity and reliability of operating variables in the study were tested by Factor Analysis and Credibility Analysis.
As the result of empirical analysis, two hypotheses were accepted and two were rejected. Accepted hypotheses were as follows: “Music class will influence on teenager’s emotion,” “The interest of music will influence on teenager’s emotion.”
According to the result of this study, we can say that music class and students' interest in music influence on teenager’s emotion. We can also say that music makes teenager’s emotion change and influences on youth’s feeing, emotion formation and life.
Through additional analysis, we can get the results that youths mostly like just popular song, and they don’t take interest in classical music. It gives us insight that it needs an enlargement of education opportunity on classical music.
