The purpose of this study was to identify influence that eye movement, FES with eye movement, and PNF with eye movement in stroke patients with neglect syndrome. The subjects were randomly allocated to 3 groups, the eye movement group(EMG), FES with eye movement group(FEG), and PNF with eye movement group(PEG). The measurement of dependent variable were visual perception, static and dynamic balance, head alignment. The program consisted of 5 times per weeks for 6 weeks. The results of this study were as follows: Visual perception(LBT, MVPT test) of pre and post therapy intervention in eye movement group(EMG) and PNF with eye movement group(PEG) showed the significant differences(p0.05). Comparison of the between groups, eye movement group(EMG) and PNF with eye movement group(PEG) showed improvement than in FES with eye movement group(FEG). But, CBS test did not show the significant differences in the between groups(p>0.05). Static balance with the open eyes of pre and post therapy intervention in 3 group showed the significant differences(p<0.05). But static balance with the close eyes of pre and post therapy intervention in the only PNF with eye movement group(PEG) showed the significant differences(p<0.05). Comparison of static balance with the open eyes between groups, PNF with eye movement group(PEG) showed most improvement than FES with eye movement group(FEG) and eye movement group(EMG)(p<0.05). Comparison of static balance with the close eyes between groups, PNF with eye movement group(PEG) showed most improvement than FES with eye movement group(FEG) and eye movement group(EMG)(p<0.05). Dynamic balance of pre and post therapy intervention in 3 group showed the significant differences(p<0.05). Comparison of dynamic balance between groups, PNF with eye movement group(PEG) showed most improvement than FES with eye movement group(FEG) and eye movement group(EMG)(p<0.05). Head alignment of pre and post therapy intervention in only PNF with eye movement group(PEG) showed the significant differences(p0.05). Comparison of head alignment between groups, PNF with eye movement group(PEG) showed most improvement than FES with eye movement group(FEG) and eye movement group(EMG)(p<0.05). Based on the result, the eye movement, FES and PNF had a different effect on visual perception, balance and head alignment in neglect syndrome patients. Therefore, for the further study, various interventions are needed by applying to neglect syndrome patients.
