Nowadays, ethics is becoming one of the essential factors in the society. In modern administrative environment, particularly, it is required to introduce and practice ethical management for those who not only have social responsibility but also are eager to survive in competition. Ethical management has become a new opportunity to reinforce competitiveness, rather than extra cost to shoulder. This research analyzes the effects of ethical management on business performance. By definition, ethical management is divided into personnel management, organizational justice, ethical environment, and CEO practice will; business performance is divided into job satisfaction and financial performance. The paper has dealt ethical management with medium between corporate image and business performance to verify how members’ trust toward a boss could impact on business performance. To accomplish the purpose above, this study conducts survey (600 distributed, 399 recollected) of workers in sports facility run by the military. In summary, the key results of this study are as follows. First, personnel management, organizational justice, ethical environment, and CEO practice will create valence toward job satisfaction; this means ethical management in sports facility run by the military is positively related with workers’ job satisfaction. Furthermore, sub-variables of ethical management, personnel management and CEO practice will, are also positively related with financial performance. On the other hand, other sub-variables of ethical management, organizational justice and ethical environment, have no relation with financial performance. Second, corporate image works as a medium to all sub-variables of ethical management (personnel management, organizational justice, ethical environment, and CEO practice will). Corporate image also works as a medium to all sub-variables with financial performance except CEO practice will. Notably, in ethical environment, corporate image works as a perfect medium with financial performance. Third, when it comes to the analysis of the relation between trust toward a boss, ethical management and management performance, members’ trust toward a boss works to moderate personnel management and ethical environment, but has no relation to organizational justice and CEO practice will. Moreover, the analysis of moderating effect shows that personnel management, organizational justice, ethical environment, CEO practice will have moderating effect with financial performance. Additionally, personnel management, ethical environment and CEO practice will have no relation with financial performance. Therefore, it is proved that members’ trust toward a boss has an important role of moderating the relation between ethical management and management performance. Forth, in relationship with ethical management and corporate image, sub-variables of ethical management (personnel management, organizational justice, ethical environment, CEO practice will) have valence to corporate image. moreover, the ethical practice of a company positively influences on the improvement of corporate image. Likewise, this study substantiates how the practice of ethical management influences business performance and corporate image with trust causes. Especailly, we proved that corporate image and trust toward a boss have a major influence on ethical management and management performance. This result offers the assurance and the logical basis of the necessity of practicing ethical management to corporations run by public agency. This research would allow the establishment of ethical management system in order to ethically achieve corporate vision and goals. Corporations will be required to enhance ethics of organizational employees through continuous and systematic training.
