Historically, a human’s two eyes are represented as the window viewing the world. It’s because they deliver numerous information to us through the medium of light, and also provide diverse experience through the process of judgment. The reason for a human’s eyes to be called the second brain is that the brain is the body organ, through which lots of information primarily penetrates, and a point of view of the world unique to a human comes into existence. Accordingly, the world viewed by vision is individual and special. A human who had no choice but to look at the world aided by two eyes got to have a lot more eyes after the invention of a camera, and a human came to explore the other world, and to desire more through the portable 3rd eye besides the eyes installed in the body. A camera is the machine which made it possible for humans to extend their physical limitations, and for human life to get to the system of storage and records. Many artists fill up a canvas with their eyes, but after the invention of a camera, they called in question about their eyes’extension, which signifies that meaning of viewing was extended. As a result, many artists have done research on time and space created a camera, creating a unique world with the research as a medium. Notably, the camera in a film, or animation gets to expose its eyes plainly to an audience by playing a role in not only reflecting the subject objectively but also doing an act of actively viewing the object as if it had life-this is called a point-of-view shot. A point-of-view shot is used as a device which aggressively exposes what a character sees in a film, or animation, and an audience comes to go through the process of identification with a character’s eyes while facing the screen. Especially, the point-of-time shot in an animation creates a unique space, together with the structural specificity of an animation, which creates a shot distinct from the point-of-time shot of a Live-action film. Originally, a Live-action film creates the recording of actual movements through editing, whereas in an animation, consecutive pictures create movements; accordingly, a difference in meaning comes up between the two media in that one creates actual movements, and the other creates movements by imagination. Therefore, the space created by a point-of-time shot is different as the characteristic of a basic space of an animation and a film differs from each other; that’s why there is the need to do research on this. The animation point-of-time shot can aggressively achieve extension of On-screen and Off-screen through the intervention of an animator, and create not only a character‘s eyes but also unrealistic, fanciful eyes. The animation point-of-time shot creates a space different from reality through the space deeply extended toward inside in an independent space of an individual frame, and can weigh up Off-screen through image movements. The Off-screen space of animation is the one of a non-existent illusion, but this space is not empty but filled up. After all, the animation point-of-time shot is the stereoscopic space that can expose frame extension according to the frame of movements conducted by an animator using the visual device aggressively exposing the relations between an object viewed on the basis of a primary approach to‘What is it viewing?’and a main character.
