The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of parents’ recognition of selection on the Taekwondo gym image and its impact on behavioral intention. The subjects were parents who have children participating in Taekwondo in Jeonlabukdo and they were extracted by non-probability sampling from 1st of December 2016 to 21st of December 2016. The amount of initial questionnaries were 300 and 266 were collected. Also, 34 questionnaires were excepted due to incomplete reponses. Window win program SPSS/PC+Version 21.0, analysis of frequency, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, posteriori tests, t-test, one-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the data. The results are as follows.
With regard to parents’ recognition of selection on the Taekwondo gym, First, on analysis of the difference in the facilities among the selection attributes in accordance with demographic characteristics, there are significant differences on parents' sex and their age, children's sex and training period. Second, on analysis of the difference in leaders, there is no difference on parents’ sex and their age, children’s sex and training period. Third, on analysis of the difference in programs according to demographic characteristics, prents’ age seemed dramatic difference. Forth, on analysis of environment, parents’ age, children’s sex and training period showed significant differences. Fifth, on analysis of the difference in public relations, there are dramatic differences on parents’ sex and their age and training period.
On anaylsis of the difference in Taekwondo gym among the selection attributes in accordance with demographic characteristics, there are significant differences on parents’ sex and training period especially in less than a year and 2years.
On analysis of the difference in behavioral intention, there are dramtic differences on parents’ sex and their age, children’s age and training period.
Regarding the effect of parents’ recognition of selection on the Taekwondo gym image, there are statistically influences on public relations, programs, facilities and environment.
