A study on effects of experiential marketing of cosmetic brands on brand attitude and repurchase intention : focused on skin care products원문보기

The preliminary survey was conducted on November 25 of 2015, oriented to 45 women selected by sampling in their twenties to fifties living in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do area who are users of base cosmetics. Through reexamination process, the questionnaire survey was modified and complemented. As for the period of questionnaire survey of the main survey, it was carried out for about one week from January 25 to 31 of 2016 via internet. 325 questionnaires were used for analysis materials among the questionnaires of email responses made by female consumers in their twenties to fifties living in the mentioned area. The analysis counted on SPSS 18.0 program and carried out frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis and multiple regression analysis. The research results can be summarized as follows: Firstly, according to the research results of effects of experiential marketing on brand attitude, it turned out that sense, emotion, behavior and relationship among 5 experiential elements gave significant positive effects while recognition gave negative effects. Secondly, according to the research results of effects of experiential marketing on repurchase intention, it turned out that sense, emotion, behavior and relationship among 5 experiential elements gave significant effects while recognition did not give significant effects. Thirdly, according to the results of effects of brand attitude on repurchase intention, it turned out that awareness, favorable impression and trust among 3 attitude factors gave significant effects. Fourthly, this study drew experiential factors of which consumer experiential marketing by age gave effects on brand attitude. As for the experiential factors classified by age, women in their twenties showed the strongest factors in sense, emotion and behavior, while women in their thirties were with sense and relationship. Women in their forties showed the strongest factors in sense, emotion, behavior and relationship, while women in their fifties were significantly influenced by sense and behavior. Fifthly, this study drew experiential factors of which consumer experiential marketing by age gave effects on repurchase intention. As for the experiential factors classified by age, women in their twenties showed significant factors in terms of emotion and relationship, while women in their thirties did not show significant factors in any area. Women in their forties showed significant factors in terms of sense and relationship while women in their fifties showed significant factors in terms of recognition. Sixthly, this study drew experiential factors of which consumer brand attitude by age gave effects on repurchase intention. As for the brand attitude factors classified by age, the significant factors of women in their twenties were with favorable impression and trust, while women in their thirties were with trust. Women in their forties showed significant factors in terms of awareness and trust, while women in their fifties did not show significant factors. The research results showed that cosmetic brand formed brand attitude through experiential marketing provided to consumers, and the formed brand attitude gave significant effects on repurchase intention. Moreover, it was possible to figure out that experiential marketing gave direct and significant influences on repurchase intention and the significant influential factors by age were drawn. Based on these results, it is required to strengthen experiential consumption for establishing steady relationship with consumers through strategic experiential marketing aiming at brand competitiveness differentiating from other brands. The research results are not allowed to be generalized because the cosmetic brands used by the research subject of questionnaire survey were restricted as private stimulation materials. Therefore, it will be necessary to carry out additional follow-up studies based on a variety of experiential stimulation materials for achieving broader marketing strategies.
