This study was carried out to determine the relationships among variables such as exercise commitment, psychological happiness, life satisfaction and quality of life based on the survey conducted to university students. The purpose of this study is to contribute to enhancing the quality of life of university students by providing practical implications with regard to this issue. In this study, 190 questionnaires were used in the analysis for an empirical study focused on university students to understand the relational influences among exercise commitment, psychological happiness, life satisfaction and quality of life. In order to verify the study hypothesis, frequency analysis, reliability analysis and exploratory factor analysis were performed with SPSS 22.0. In addition, the hypothesis and model of the study was verified through confirmatory factor analysis and covariance structure analysis with AMOS 22.0, The results of the analyses are as follows. First, exercise commitment had a significant positive (+) influence on psychological happiness. This is because the participants of exercise can directly feel a sense of accomplishment in advance and have conviction in their success by believing in the goal that they have established and its value, and doing their best through the commitment process in which their mind and body are integrated. Therefore, it is thought that psychological stability and happiness are experienced at a sufficient level in the state of exercise commitment. Second, it turned out that exercise commitment had no significant positive (+) influence on life satisfaction. This is seemingly because most of the respondents perceive exercise commitment to be irrelevant to their present life satisfaction level involving social activities or economic activities. Third, psychological happiness had no significant positive (+) influence on quality of life. This can be interpreted as the respondents’ belief that the quality of life cannot be enhanced only with psychological happiness. Fourth, life satisfaction was found to have a significant positive (+) influence on quality of life. This may indicate that the respondents see that the overall stability and satisfaction of life have a greater influence on their quality of life than psychological happiness has.
