In this paper, we analyze the characteristics of EMG signals measured in the forearm, and propose the robots hand prosthesis that can estimate wrist force and grasping force at the same time. The proposed robots can simultaneously estimate the 2-degree- of–freedom wrist force (flexion-extension, adduction-abduction) and 1-degree-of-freedom grasping force using EMG signals of the forearms. Therefore, it is possible not only to approach the object by using the wrist, but also to grasp the object by grasping the finger. In addition, the motion corresponding to each degree of freedom provides a free and natural movement as a regression analysis method, not a pattern classification method. The proposed learning data generation method uses EMG characteristics of the forearm. This is a method of constructing learning data including movement when two operations are simultaneously performed by combining learning data for estimating the motion of the wrist and learning data for estimating movement of the finger. This method greatly reduces the time and effort of the learning data generation process by greatly reducing the list of existing performance tables for generating learning data. The validity of the proposed algorithm was evaluated by using the coefficient of determination (), mean square root error (), and it was confirmed how well the user's intention was reflected to the robot through the simulation test. The experimental results showed that the coefficient of determination of the regression equation was 0.71 (extension-flexion) and 0.81 (adduction -abduction) with respect to the 2 degrees of freedom of the wrist, while the grasping force was 0.75. The mean square root error was 0.12, 0.17, and 0.13 in the same order. In the simulated experiment, which evaluates how well the user's intention is reflected to the robot, the Pick and Place work was successfully performed using the estimated value of 3 degrees of freedom.
