The paradigm of the global automobile market is shifting from internal combustion engines to electric vehicles due to international environmental regulations on vehicle emissions, increased potential for depletion of petroleum resources, and persistent high oil prices. In this situation, competition to preoccupy the environment-friendly automobile market is becoming fiercely global. The 12 major countries, including the US, Europe and China, plan to supply 13 million electric cars by 2020, driving demand for more cars, boosting battery-based cost competitiveness, and participating in new challengers such as Apple and Google. In particular, China is undergoing government restructuring such as subsidy subsidy reduction and eradication of illegal subsidies, and the United States has begun a competition of innovation that can compete with internal combustion vehicles such as Bolt and Model 3. In this study, we estimate how much demand for electric vehicles will affect the demand of electric vehicles in Korea and analyze how the changes of related variables affect the demand of electric cars through simulation of scenarios. And to provide practical data for establishing strategy of electric vehicle activation plan in enterprise. So first, an introduction to unfamiliar System Dynamics, second, by analyzing the current status of domestic electric car industry, finally, we developed a SFD (Stock and Flow Diagram) modeling the relationship between the variables used in the actual equation and the future electric vehicle demand forecasting scenario. The results of this study are as follows: First, the main factors affecting the diffusion of eco - friendly cars are the price of the vehicle, the price of the oil, the eco - friendly awareness, interest in new technology, charging time, charging method, battery efficiency, And policy support, and they were classified into socio-cultural factors, policy factors, technical factors, economic factors, and market factors Second, the simulation results show that electric vehicles will steadily increase from 2010 to 36,440 units in 2017, 122,700 units in 2019, and 178,300 units in 2020, and will account for about 6% of total vehicle purchases by 2030, Finally, the total cumulative number of 1,005,000 units in 2023 is expected to reach 1 million units for the first time, and the total cumulative number of units will be 2 million units in 2030. In addition, through the policy optimization simulation, the subsidy will be maintained at around KRW 7.5 million by 2020 and 2020, the price of pure electric cars excluding subsidies in 2018 will drop to KRW 21.43 million, and the total number of charging stations will be 958 in 2018. It is expected to sell 2,855,000 units in 2025 and 3,339,000 units in 2030, and it is expected to actually occupy a 10% share of total vehicle sales (forecast 26 million units) in 2023 in the same year. This study is suitable for establishing current situation and prospect and policy direction from domestic viewpoint using domestic data instead of global trend and it is possible to see the whole flow through feedback between each factor rather than prediction of existing wishful think, This study is intended to examine the impact of electric vehicles on overall demand, and it is meaningful to consider strategic choice.
