This study aims to examine the influence of parent-teacher partnership positive behavior support to problematic behavior improvement of children with develop- mental disabilities. Its specific purpose is first, to examine the influence of parent- teacher partnership positive behavior support conducted in family to reduced problematic behavior of children with develop- mental disabilities, and second, to apprehend if the changed problematic behavior of children with developmental disabilities through parent-teacher partnership positive behavior support is maintained. For this, the study selected two children with developmental disabilities who have no experience of positive behavior support in family with parents who have difficulty related to problematic behavior. The independent variable of this study is parent-teacher partnership positive behavior support in family. Also, the intervention strategy has 4 types of intervention support such as intervention of antecedents by parent, alternative behavior instruction, follow-up result intervention, life style intervention by both parents and teachers, and the dependent variable is problematic behavior of the child at home. The study applied multiple probe design to demonstrate the effectiveness of similar behavioral changes to several study subjects who shows same situation and target behavior, and the experiment was conducted in order of baseline-intervention-maintenance. Meanwhile, considering the importance of parental participation on problematic behavior at home, the study saw the parent and teacher related to subject equally as the intervention supporter of child's environment. Based on this, the study composed parent and teacher as positive behavior support team to participate in functional evaluation and intervention, and applied same strategy at home. The study implemented intervention strategy established through the negotiation of positive behavior support team to each child. The study used behavior support list, visual support table at home for parental support tool, and used class strategy modification, timer, and reinforcer provision for teacher support. The study result confirmed that the parent-teacher partnership positive behavior support conducted at home decreased the problematic behavior of children with develop- mental disabilities, and maintained the level of decreased behavior. In other words, the positive behavior support reduced aggressive behavior and out-of-seat behavior during class time and maintained the reduced problematic behavior stably. The study result indicated that the behavioral intervention of children with develop-mental disabilities with various problematic behavior can be conducted by not just teacher or therapist but also the parents as the protector of child. The intervention of problematic behavior of children with develop- mental disabilities must be based on partnership of parents and experts around the child.
