This research aims to analyze the effect of self-directed learning on organizational adaptation of new employees through networking behavior empirically. Specific research questions are as follows. First, what is the effects of new employees' self-directed learning on organizational adaptation in companies? Second, when including networking behavior as mediating variable, what is the effects of new employees' self-directed learning on organizational adaptation in companies? For this study, about 200 new employees' who are currently working were surveyed electronically. A total of 176 questionnaires were used as research data. Using the collected data, independent sample t-test and One way ANOVA were performed to identify differences in frequency and technical statistical characteristics, and the Scheffé test was performed as a method of post-testing method. In addition, the three-stage parametric analysis of Baron and Kenny(1986) was conducted for the purpose of analyzing the effects of multiple return analysis and mediated effects for analysis of the effects between sub-factors by Pearson titration correlation analysis and the structural equation model to find out the relevance between the variables. The results of the study are as follows. First, it has been shown that self-directed learning by new employees' has a significant positive effect on organizational adaptation. The most influential factors in the learning process management, learning outcomes management, learning motivation, self-concept, persistence of learning activities, learning resource utilization management, and the learning environment (occupancy, immersion, turnover) are the main factors of learning environment. Second, it has been shown that networking behavior has the effect of mediating between new employees' self-directed learning and organizational adaptation. In particular, the role of networking behavior in the relationship of task satisfaction, organization immersion, and turnover, which is a sub-parator of self-directed learning and organizational adaptation, was found to have a significant positive effect on learning process management, learning outcome management, learning motivation, self-concept, persistence of learning activities, learning resource utilization, and learning environment conditions. Based on the above results, we can conclude the following. First, it proved that self-directed learning by new employees' is an important variable that affects organizational adaptation. The self-directed learning sub-factories of new employees': learning process management, learning outcomes management, learning motivation, self concept, persistence of learning activities, learning resource utilization management, learning environment conditions are facilitated by organizational adaptation, consisting of task satisfaction, organizational immersion and turnover. Second, networking behavior plays a mediating role in the relationship between new employees' self-directed learning and organizational adaptation. By revealing that the internal and external networking behavior of new employees plays a partial role between self-directed learning and organizational adaptation, the boundaries of knowledge about the relationship between factors that predict organizational adaptation and self-directed learning are expanded to a new level.
