Lower back pain is one of the most common musculoskeletal disorders, a major cause of considerable cost to society. It is suggested that improving stability in the spine, regardless of the causes and consequential factors of lower back pain caused by various causes, is more effective in treatment and prevention recurrence. Kettlebell training, in which both anaerobic and aerobic exercises take place in sync, can enhance both muscle elasticity, muscle strength and muscle endurance generation and also is known as a full-body workout that helps strengthen muscle endurance and cardiopulmonary endurance stimulating the whole body, including back, hip and thigh muscles. Also, it is known as a highly effective exercise training program to strengthen the lower extremities such as hip muscle strength and flexibility of hip joints, as well as the prevention and treatment effects of musculoskeletal patients corresponding to the upper body such as cervical, shoulder, and back pain. This study presents an overview of kettlebell training and the necessity of kettlebell training for patients with lower back pain through preceding research data, reports, and academic journals to help back pain sufferers, so as to provide basic data when kettlebell training programs are organized in the future. Therefore, the following results were obtained. 1. Kettlebell training improves core stability, which improves the stability of lumbar providing the form of therapeutic exercises to prevent or treat back pain, and can help athletic performance improvement and training methods to prevent injuries. 2. Kettlebell training is one of the effective ways of stretching as an active stretching for the iliopsoas muscles, which is the cause of lower back pain. 3. Kettlebell training can improve gluteal muscles function, effectively preventing injury and improving movement.
