The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of forest healing program experience on psychological and physiological changes of office workers exposed to task stress and to provide basic data for the study of effects on forest healing. 63 call center consultants (emotional workers) who applied for forest healing programs, and 23 government officials who participated in training programs of South Jeolla Provincial Government employees who were operating in the cypress forests of Jangheung, Jeong Nam-jin took part in the study. In the study, 1) the effects of forest healing activities on the mood conditions of office workers were found and 2) average heart rate, stress resistance index, parasympathetic nervous activity, and stress index changes, which are a physiological change of workers, respectively were also analyzed The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, for a group of call-center consultants exposed to task stress who participated in this study, the average score of task-stress exposure was 42.71/100. In particular, the demand for jobs was also found to have been exposed to the highest stress in the area, and the lowest score in the area for workplace culture. For the civil servants group, the average score of job stress exposure was 43.56/100. In particular, demands for jobs were also found to have been exposed to the highest stress in the area, and the lowest score in the area of workplace instability. Second, the measurement of the mood condition (K-POMS-B) for prior to and after the experience of forest healing programs in groups of office workers exposed to task stress (call center consultants and civil servants) confirmed significant differences in mood state changes in all factors of tension, depression, anger, vigor, fatigue, confusion and general mood disorder. Third, for the groups of workers exposed to job stress (call center consultants and civil servants), the experience of forest healing programs has confirmed significant results that affect mood changes regardless of average working hours, whether they visit forests or participate in forest healing programs. Fourth, for the groups of workers exposed to task stress (call center consultants and civil servants), the experience of forest therapy programs identified significant results that resulted in changes in heart rate (HR) and changes in stress resistance (TP). However, the changes in the co-sympathetic nervous system activity (HF) were identified only in the groups of civil servants, while the changes in the stress index were identified only in the groups of call center consultants. I think the biggest limitation of this study is that there were only 23 people in the group of civil servants exposed to task stress. In particular, verification of the effectiveness of physiological changes was not able to secure sufficient targets due to the limitations of the equipment in possession. It was suggested in later studies that the effects of forest healing programs should be assessed over a long period of time and that it is more important than anything else to identify specific effects factors that have caused positive effects in the contents of forest healing programs applied.
