Art education is changing with the transition of era, and it is still making numerous new attempts now. While exploring various means of expression by utilizing new technologies and tools, the space for displaying artworks is gradually expanding to online space, utilizing in classroom to provide students with various appreciation and displaying experiences. Due to the recent COVID-19 situation, non-contact classes were conducted, and the development of online art education contents become active. But this didn’t fully reflect the feature of art education, and the distribution of learning materials like video focused on expression activities was made. As an alternative, enhancing art education features by using advantages of SNS could be expected. Preliminary study was conducted in 2019 before the COVID-19 situation, trying to move the “student art“ exhibition space to online. And study intend more student-led appreciation activities conducted by making two-way communication possible. The analyzed impact of this on the student's appreciation was analyzed. For the research, this study explored various Social Services which can provied two-way communitcative function and specific detail functions were proposed for appreciation education. Based on the results of a pre study conducted in 2019, the study selected 'High Class' as the social service for research. Study conducted from July to August 2020, on 28 sixth graders (14 males and 14 females) for about a month. A class named “Gathering school art“ in the High Class was opened to share and appreciate student arts, and they has been taught to utilize specific functions and post forms during 10 sessions. Research conducted in-depth interviews with students who showed changes through pre and post surveys and needed to be analyzed. After the 10th session, when activity was completed, nine students were selected for in-depth interviews and results were linked to the one of the pre, post survey: first, the students thought Social service was effective and convenient to appreciate art works. The suggested reason was that the application was easy to use and the works could be selected. Second, there were many positive responses in the formative element exploration area of appreciation, but not in the content area. Students were reluctant to show specific opinions about others’ works. Through the survey of content areas and in-depth interview, they said that they did not give specific comments to friends, explaining that the reason was due to their propensity. Through the results, this study concluded that the appreciation of student arts using Social service had different influence on each student, and it was meaningful to use Social service. Furthermore, since using existing platform functions rather than the develop new platforms suitable for research, limited research was conducted, this can suggest specific functions can be supplemented in the future. This also suggests that studies on students who do not want to express their feelings on Social service should be conducted.
