3. 밴드 운동에 따른 노인 여성의 면역기능의 변화는 IgG(p=.001), IgM(p=.001), IgA(p=.002)에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 측정 시기와 집단 간의 상호작용에서는 IgG(p=.015), IgM(p=.002), IgA(p=.005)에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타냈다.

This study aims to examine changes in the functional fitness, aging-related hormones (Growth Hormone, DHEAs), and immunity functions (IgG, IgM, IgA) of elderly women following band exercise participation to provide an effective intervention program for an improved quality of life through the health enhancement of elderly women. To achieve these research purposes, 30 women ages 65 and older residing in Y city were randomly assigned with 15 placed in a test group and 15 placed in a control group. Data analysis was conducted after 3 participants who dropped out in the middle were eliminated and finally, data on 27 participants including 14 in a test group and 13 in a control group was analyzed and the following conclusions were drawn.
1. Changes in the functional fitness of elderly women following band exercises showed significant differences in 2kg dumbbell lifting (p=.004), sitting in a chair and standing up (p=.001), walking in place for 2 minutes (p=.001), holding hands behind the back (p=.001), sitting in a chair and bending forward (p=.001), and walking 2.44m back and forth (p=.001). Also, measurement times and interactions among groups showed statistically significant differences in 2kg dumbbell lifting (p=.015), sitting in a chair and standing up (p=.010), walking in place for 2 minutes (p=.001), holding hands behind the back (p=.001), sitting in a chair and bending forward (p=.001), and walking 2.44m back and forth (p=.031).
2. Changes in the aging-related hormones of elderly females following band exercises showed significant differences in Growth Hormones (p=.001) and DHEAs (p=.001). Also, measurement times and interactions among groups showed statistically significant differences in Growth Hormones (p=.001) and DHEAs (p=.001).
3. Changes in the immunity functions of elderly women following band exercises showed significant differences in IgG (p=.001), IgM (p=.001), and IgA (p=.002). Measurement times and interactions among groups showed statistically significant differences in IgG (p=.015), IgM (p=.002), and IgA (p=.005). When these results are summed up, band exercises showed statistically significant differences in functional fitness, aging-related hormone, and immunity function changes and interactions in elderly women, showing positive effects in the test group. Therefore, participation in regular band exercises can improve functional fitness and increases aging-related hormones and immunity functions, making it an effective health management method that can enhance the quality of life for elderly women experiencing difficulties in their independent everyday lives.
