성폭력 피해 생존자의 심리적 외상 회복을 위한 집단무용/동작심리치료 체험연구 A Study on the Experience of Group Dance/Movement Psychotherapy for the Recovery of Psychological Trauma of Survivors of Sexual Violence원문보기

The purpose of this study is to reveal the essence and meaning of their experience with group dance/motional psychotherapy experience research to recover psychological trauma of survivors of sexual violence. Researchers became interested in the psychological trauma of survivors of sexual violence and became interested in body-centered intervention for them. This led us to approach this study with interest in physical sensory intervention based on the theory of Semantic Experience® (SE™), which has recently been presented as an effective way to treat psychological trauma. This study collected data through the participation of four survivors of sexual violence. Participants in the study consisted of adult women who had experienced sexual violence and experienced trauma symptoms, depression, and anxiety while playing daily life and social roles, and combined counseling and treatment accordingly. For the research data, we conducted one preliminary interview, five sessions of collective dance psychotherapy that emphasized the concept of resources of SE™, and conducted in-depth interviews on what we experienced afterward. The interview consisted of one to two rounds of complementary interviews. Research methods and data analysis in this study apply Giorgi's phenomenological research methods. As a result of data analysis, 17 subtopics and 7 topics were derived. The seven components are: "Experience energy generation and positive activation through physical sensory recognition," "Experience physical, psychological relaxation and creativity using various small tools," "Enable childhood memories and stay with others now," "Experience various expressive, psychological, and relationship difficulties." The conclusions reached through this study are as follows. First, participants in the study re-recognized the series of processes in which their body energy is generated and energized as a new approach to recognize surrounding cloves and their bodies through body senses, and gave direct energy to the group. In this process, the sense of space in the body and space was expanded and the trust in the body senses and physical images was experienced. Second, participants in the study took the initiative of the body, time and space as an empirical approach (Cristobal, 2018) that experienced physical and psychological relaxation and creativity using a variety of small tools to feel non-invasive contact. Third, participants in the study recalled pleasant and safe memories internally in the safe spaces and play processes they formed, and experienced a sense of tranquility through childhood memories. So I felt like I was helping to get back to the body here/now, which is now in existence. Fourth, participants in the study recognized various expressive, psychological, and relational difficulties in the participation process. Recognizing the burden of new expressions, the frustration of paying attention to body movements, the desire for psychological relaxation and physical rigidity, he experienced confusion and discomfort, and the expectation of intimacy with the group was different. Fifth, participants in the study shook immobility through the expansion of spontaneous and creative body expression, through which they exchanged new influences such as self-assertion and resilience. Sixth, participants in the study experienced direct or indirect learning of other members, therapists or groups within the structure of group therapy, witnessing and resonating what others were experiencing (Taylor & Saint-Laurent, 2017). In this process, he experienced the practice of recognizing his health and trusting his gender and change. Seventh, through dance/motor therapy experiences, research participants have increased their willingness to keep safe boundaries as awareness of the currently existing body senses and physically shaped spaces increases. We also lay the foundation for obtaining hints that balance life as an insight and objective perception of oneself. This study can provide survivors with experience in dance/motional psychotherapy for psychological trauma recovery of survivors of sexual violence. Furthermore, the intervention of dance/motional psychotherapy can help develop the capabilities of body-centered intervention in sexual violence trauma at clinical sites. It is also meaningful to provide practical data that can be applied to clinical sites for dance motion psychotherapy.
