For Chinese Korean learners, comparing the similarities and differences between Korean and Chinese proverbs will ensure a better understanding of Korean language. Focusing on the importance of proverbs education, sorting out the proverbs that appear in the Korean Language Proficiency Test (TOPIK) and seven authoritative Korean textbooks, and selecting 51 proverbs that are comparable to Chinese proverbs, this research carried out a comparative analysis of Korean and Chinese proverbs according to the classification of homomorphic, synonymous, homomorphic, and homomorphic; In this research, the selected proverbs are classified into elementary, intermediate, and advanced classes to devise a catalog of proverbs teaching. On this basis, this research eventually proposed a proverb teaching scheme that takes language and cultural learning as the teaching goal, adopts a scene-based teaching method, and focuses on practical teaching. The effects of this teaching scheme are analyzed and optimized by questionnaire survey, the subjects of which include 14 teachers teaching Korean in seven universities in China that offer Korean language majors, and 329 students majoring in Korean language. After the practice of the teaching scheme, teachers and students will answer the corresponding questions of questionnaire. For students at different learning stages, teaching proverbs based on the corresponding difficulty level has gradually improved students’ understanding of the homogeneity and difference between Korean and Chinese culture.
