성역할 고정관념이 데이트폭력 인식에 미치는 영향 : 성별과 성적 자기주장의 조절된 매개효과 Effect of gender role stereotypes on dating violence perception : moderated mediation effect of gender and sexual self-assertion원문보기

This study, aims to identify the mediating effect of sexual self-assertion in the influence of gender role stereotypes of college students on dating violence perception (severeness and violence tolerance) and to explore how these mediating effects are controlled according to sex. For the study, a survey was conducted on unmarried men and women in college students (including enrollment, graduation, and completion) residing across the country, and a total of 160 people responded. Among them, 159 copies were used for the analysis, excluding 1 part that did not agree to the survey. After performing descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, t-test, and correlation analysis as analysis methods, stepwise regression analysis is conducted to examine the effects of gender, gender role stereotypes, and sexual self-assertion on the perception of dating violence, a multiple regression analysis was conducted to identify the mediating effect of sexual self-assertion in the relationship between gender role stereotypes and dating violence perceptions. The result of this study are as follows. Firstly, Men had higher gender role stereotypes than women, women perceived behavioral control and verbal violence more seriously among the perception of the severity of dating violence, and women had higher sexual self-assertion than men. Secondly, The perception of seriousness of dating violence was negatively correlated with gender role stereotypes and positively correlated with sexual self-assertion, and the perception of violence tolerance was negatively correlated with gender role stereotypes and severity. However, there was no significant correlation between violence tolerance and sexual self-assertion. Thirdly, among the perceptions of the seriousness of dating violence, sexual self-assertion and partial mediating effects appeared in physical violence, and sexual behavior recognition and partial mediating effects, which are sub-factors of physical violence and sexual self-assertion. Fourth, it was confirmed that the relationship between gender role stereotypes and sexual self-assertion is adjusted according to gender. In the case of women, gender role stereotypes had a greater effect on sexual self-assertion. Lastly, as a result of verifying the controlled mediating effect, it was confirmed that gender-controlled sexual self-assertion did not mediate its influence in the relationship between gender role stereotypes and dating violence perceptions. Finally, the significance, implications, limitations, and suggestions of this study were described
