The domestic demand for natural wine is seen as a market with high potential as it shows a growing trend every year. On the other hand, there is a lack of detailed research data related to natural wine. This study examined the trends of the natural wine market at this point in the growth of the natural wine market, and examined the characteristics related to natural wine consumption due to the changing wine needs and natural wine Four market growth. Prior to the empirical study, various preceding studies ultimately attempted to establish a consumer market segmentation standard for purchasing and drinking natural wine, and divided groups through Latent Class Analysis (LCA), a statistical technique that can overcome the limitations of existing K-means market segmentation studies. The population for this study was selected as "domestic consumers aged 20 to 60 or older who have drunk natural wine within the last year," and the survey was conducted online and offline at the same time to offset sample convenience. A total of 521 effective samples were collected and used for analysis, and four variables were selected as the criteria for market segmentation: the average number of wine drinks per month, wine drinking place, monthly average consumption, and natural wine selection factors (internal/external) to perform market segmentation of the LCA market. Through LCA, the entire sample was classified into a total of three subdivision groups, and the analysis between the subdivision groups showed significant differences in preferred countries, preferred wine, gender, household characteristics, age, education level, income, and marital status. In addition, marketing plans were suggested by grasping the characteristics of each segmentation group. Based on this, this study has the following theoretical implications. First, by researching trends in the natural wine consumption market and organizing the characteristics of the natural wine consumption market, the foundation for future research was laid. Second, there are very few existing market segmentation studies in the natural wine market, and a few studies have analyzed using the K-means method, but this study divided the potential classes of natural wine consumers by introducing the LCA analysis technique. In addition, by presenting a collective attractiveness considering the frequency of natural wine consumption, buyers, importers, sommeliers, and distributors will be able to select the right target.
