The purpose of this study is to confirm the effect of multidimensional perfectionism on the career preparation behavior of college students, and to reveal the function of social support and intolerance of uncertainty for uncertainty in the relationship between these variables. For this purpose, data were collected through an online survey method targeting 600 college students, and data from 562 students were finally analyzed. SPSS 22.0 was used to analyze the demographic characteristics and variables of the collected study subjects, and AMOS 22.0 was used for structure verification and path coefficient and effect analysis, and the maximum likelihood method was used as the estimation method. The main results of this study are as follows. First, as a result of analyzing the relationship between multidimensional perfectionism, social support, intolerance of uncertainty, and career preparation behavior of college students, the mediating effect of social support between self-oriented perfectionism and career preparation behavior was not found. but the intolerance of uncertainty was completely mediated between self-oriented perfectionism and career preparation behavior. On the other hand, social support was partially mediated between socially-imposed perfectionism and career preparation behavior, and the intolerance of uncertainty was also partially mediated between socially-imposed perfectionism and career preparation behavior. Second, the self-oriented perfectionism of college students increased the effect on the intolerance of uncertainty through social support, but it was found that it did not directly affect the career preparation behavior. On the other hand, it was confirmed that colleges' social imposition perfectionism had an effect on career preparation behavior with social support and through intolerance of uncertainty. This result means that, in the case of college, the higher the social imposition perfectionism, the higher the social support and the intolerance of uncertainty increases, so that they do not take career preparation actions. The results of this study suggest that a differentiated approach is needed in the course of counseling colleges' career preparation behaviors according to the characteristics of perfectionism, because of social support and intolerance of uncertainty affecting career preparation behavior differently.
