중학교 2, 3학년 청소년들을 대상으로 비합리적 신념과 사회적 지지가 사회불안에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았는데 이 연구의 제한점은 무엇인가? | 본 연구의 제한점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구는 청소년 초기에 사회불안의 증가가 보고되고 있는 점을 고려하여 (Wittchen et al., 2001) 연구 대상을 중학교 2, 3학년생 일반 집단으로 선정하였으나 차후 초등학생 및 고등학생 집단을 포괄하는 비교 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다. 둘째, 본 연구는 불안이나 신념과 같은 내재화 개념 측정은 개인의 주관적인 자기보고식 평가가 정확하다는 점을 감안하여(Klein, 1991) 자기보고식 질문지를 사용하였으나 자신의 수행에 대한 타인의 평가에 민감한 사회불안의 특성상 실제 사실보다 사회적으로 바람직하다고 여겨지는 반응을 보고하였을 가능성이 있다. 따라서 자기보고식 평가 이외에 타인에 의한 평정 등 객관적이고 다양한 평가 방법을 병행하는 것이 좋을 것으로 판단된다. |
