Zr-Cu-Al의 3원계 합금에 Be 첨가된다면 어떤 결과가 예상되는가? | 본 연구에서는 혼잡 이론(Confusion principle)[12], Inoue의 경험의 법칙[13] 및 Egami[14]와 Waseda의 atomic mismatch model이라는 이론적, 실험적 결과를 바탕으로 Zr-Cu-Al의 3원계 합금에 형성능을 향상 시킬 수 있는 구조적인 인자를 모두 만족하는 Be을 제 4원소로 선택하여 합금을 제조하였다. Be은 가장 작은 금속 원소이므로 조밀 충진을 유도 시킴으로써 형성능을 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 예상된다. 또한 Be은 Zr과의 혼합열 (-43 kJ/mol)이 Cu와의 혼합열 (0 kJ/mol)에 비교하여 매우 큰 차이를 나타낸다. 따라서 첨가된 원소와 기존 원소 사이의 혼합열의 차이가 크므로 국부적인 조성 분리가 일어 날것으로 판단되며 그 결과 합금의 신율이 변화 될 것으로 생각된다[15]. 이를 바탕으로 본 실험에서는 (Zr57. | |
Cu43Zr43Al7Be7합금은 어떤 성질을 지니고 있는가? | 최근 개발된 Cu계 비정질합금인 Cu43Zr43Al7Be7합금은 넓은 과냉각액체구간(∆Tx= 115℃) 및 높은 γ값(0.440)을 갖는 합금으로 Φ12 mm의 매우 큰 형성능을 가지며 이와 동시에 높은 상온소성(~7%)을 나타낸다[9].
