어린이집에서 유아 문제행동이 나타나는 이유는? 이러한 현상이 나타난 원인으로는 어린이집에 다니고 있는 유아들 중 일부는 어머니와 헤어져서 보육교사와 함께 오랜 시간을 보내면서 심리적인 어려움을 느끼게 되고 그로 인해 문제행동을 보인다는 것이다[42]. 실제로 2010년을 기준으로 볼 때 어린이집에 다니고 있는 전체 1,279,910명의 영유아 가운데 영아가 686,036명으로써 어린이집 취원율의 53.
