저출산 및 고령화 속도가 빨라지는 추세가 지속될 경우 어떤 문제가 생기는가? 하지만 한국의 저출산 및 고령화 속도는 전세계적으로도 유례없이 빠르다. 이러한 추세가 지속될 경우, 생산 가능인구 및 총 인구의 감소 등 본격적인 인구 변화와, 그에 따른 경제성장, 복지, 사회통합과 같은 다양한 영역에서 사회문제가 가시화될 것이다.
