다자녀 양육의 어려움은 무엇인가? Lim, 2011). 반면에, 다자녀 양육의 어려움으로는 양육의 버거움이나 아이들에게 골고루 관심을 주지 못할 때, 경제적으로 충분히 제공하지 못할 때(E. Bang, 2014), 주위의 편견이나 부정적인 시선(H. Lee, 2011; Y. Lee & K. Lee, 2012), 경제적인 어려움과 여성의 일-가족 양립의 어려움(E. Bang, 2014; S. Sohn, 2005) 등이 지적되었다.
저출산 및 고령화 속도가 빨라지는 추세가 지속될 경우 어떤 문제가 생기는가? 하지만 한국의 저출산 및 고령화 속도는 전세계적으로도 유례없이 빠르다. 이러한 추세가 지속될 경우, 생산 가능인구 및 총 인구의 감소 등 본격적인 인구 변화와, 그에 따른 경제성장, 복지, 사회통합과 같은 다양한 영역에서 사회문제가 가시화될 것이다.
