부모의 성취지향적 양육방식이 매우 부적절 하다는 것을 보여주는 것은? | 둘째, 본 연구에서는 성취지향적 부모의 양육태도는 아동의 학교생활적응에 부정적 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 결과는 과보호적 양육태도를 가진 부모의 자녀는 학교생활적응에 부정적 효과를 나타냈다는 선행연구[29, 40]와 애정-적대적인 부정적 양육태도를 가진 부모의 자녀가 학교생활적응에 부정적 효과를 나타낸다는 선행연구[54]의 결과와 일치한다. 즉, 부모가 학교성적 중심의 성취지향적 양육태도를 취할수록 자녀의 학교생활적응에 오히려 부정적 결과를 초래할 수 있다는 것을 의미한다. 이러한 연구결과의 원인을 논의해 본다면 다음과 같다. 학교성적 중심의 성취 지향적 부모는 자녀의 생활전반에 걸친 부분을 참여하고 있고, 이에 따라 아동은 자발적으로 학교성적 이외의 학교생활과 관련된 활동을 참여하는데 어려웠기 때문이라고 생각한다. 결론적으로, 아동이 학교생활뿐만 아니라 일상생활에서의 사회성과 관련된 능력을 향상시키기 위해서는 부모의 성취지향적 양육방식이 매우 부적절 하다는 것을 보여주는 결과이다. |
