요통의 원인은 어떤것들이 있는가? | 요통의 원인은 아직까지 명확하지 않지만, 근골격계 손상으로 인한 생체역학적 요인이 요통을 유발하는 가장 큰 원인으로 거론되고 있으며, 체간의 안정성 유지및 균형 조절에 중요한 역할을 하는 요추부의 근육약화는 요통 발생의 주요 원인으로 보고되고 있다(Graves 등, 1990). 요추부의 근육약화는 통증 및 지구력 감소, 유연성 감소, 관절운동범위의 제한을 유발할 뿐만 아니라(Fordyce 등, 1986; Gill 등, 1988; Shumway-Cook과 Horak, 1990), 통증으로 인한 체간 움직임의 감소로 인해 추가적인 근육 약화를 야기하며, 정상인에 비해 근육의 위축 정도가 더 심하다고 보고되고 있다(Tertti 등, 1991; Cooper 등, 1992). |
