구성원 침묵이 표현하는 언어보다 더 강력한 메시지를 전달할 수 있는 이유는 무엇인가? 구성원 침묵은 구성원들이 실제로 무엇을 원하고 무엇을 생각하는지를 정확하게 파악할 수 없는 비가시적인 행동이기 때문에 표현하는 언어보다 더 강력한 메시지를 전달할 수 있다. 또한 구성원 개인에게 머무르지 않고 다른 동료에게 전염시켜 조직 내 이슈에 대해 침묵하도록 만든다.
