With respect to the awareness of work specialty and proficiency of dental hygienist according to general characteristics, the higher the age, the higher the awareness level was. In terms of the occupational type, medical technologists were found to have higher awareness level than health professionals (p<0.001). 3. With respect to the relationship between general characteristics and view on including dental hygienists in medical personnel, the occupational type of health professional was found to have 6.33 times more oppositions than medical technologists. 대상 데이터
본 연구는 2017년 4월 30일부터 5월 17일까지 설문에 동의한 수도권과 전라북도에 근무 중인 의료종사자 270명을 대상으로 치과위생사의 의료인화에 대한 견해를 분석하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.
본 연구는 2017년 4월 30일부터 5월 17일까지 지역 간 차이를 알아보기 위해 치과위생사의 가장 큰 단체인 대한치과위생사협회가 있는 수도권과 시도회 중 규모가 작은 전라북도를 선정하여 병의원에서 근무 중인 의료인을 무작위로 표본 추출하여 연구에 대한 설명 후 이에 동의한 350명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였다. 대상자 수는 G*power 3.
본 데이터는 H 대학교 생명윤리심의위원회 승인을 받아 수행하였으며(승인번호: 1585-201709-HR-009-03), 자료수집은 구조화된 설문지를 의료종사자에게 우편 및 메일을 이용하여 배포하였으며, 응답자가 설문지에 직접 기재하도록 하였다. 회수된 설문지 300부 중 응답이 미흡한 30부를 제외한 후, 수집된 자료의 90%에 해당하는 270부를 분석에 이용하였다.
데이터처리

1. 치과위생사의 업무역할에 대한 인식도에서 ‘예’의 경우는 칫솔질 교육, 불소도포, 치석제거, 치아홈메우기 순이었고, ‘아니요’의 경우는 신경치료, 임시충전, 교정용 호선제거, 임시치아 접착 순이었으며, 치과위생사가 하는 업무 중 의료행위에 대한 인식에서 ‘예’의 경우는 치석제거, 치아홈메우기, 치면세마 순이었고, ‘아니요’의 경우는 칫솔질교육, 치아미백, 치주소파술, 임시치아 제작 순으로 나타났다.
2. 일반적 특성에 따른 치과위생사 의료인화에 대한 견해는 성별의 경우 반대는 남성에서, 찬성은 여성에서 높았고(p<0.05), 최종학력의 경우 반대는 대학원 이상에서, 찬성은 3년제 대학졸업에서 높게 나타났으며(p<0.05), 직종의 경우 반대는 의료인이, 찬성은 의료기사에서 높게 나타났다p<0.001).
