This study was conducted to identify the relationship between the career barriers and perceived social support type/support source and to examine whether a sense of alienation mediates the relationship between perceived social support and career barriers among out-of-school adolescents preparing for the qualification examination for their high school degree. 대상 데이터
본 연구는 서울, 경기, 부산, 강원, 제주, 전라도 권역에 거주하고 있는 9세에서 24세(청소년기본법)에 해당하는 학교 밖 청소년 중 고졸학력 검정고시를 준비하는 학교 밖 청소년을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 설문은 6개 권역 학교 밖 청소년지원센터와 검정고시 학원을 중심으로 2015년 11월10일부터 2015년 12월 2일까지 약 한달에 걸쳐서 실시되었다.

이론/모형
고졸 검정고시를 준비하는 학교 밖 청소년들의 사회적 지지를 측정하기 위하여 박지원[52]이 개발하고 황윤경[53]이 수정 보완한 사회적 지지 척도를 사용하였다. 이 척도는 정서적 지지, 평가적 지지, 정보적 지지, 물질적 지지를 측정하는 4가지 하위척도로 구성되어 있다.
