학대 경험과 거부민감성 및 정서조절의 관계는 어떠한가? | 이를 위하여 서울 경기, 강원, 충청, 경상지역 지역아동 보호기관에 아동학대로 신고 접수 되었거나 학대의심사례로 관리되고 있는 초등학교 4, 5, 6학년 아동 217명을 대상으로 아동학대, 거부민감성, 정서조절에 대한 설문을 실시한 후 구조모형 검증과 부트스트랩을 통해 매개효과를 살펴보았다. 연구결과 첫째, 아동의 학대 경험은 정서조절과 유의미한 부적상관이, 거부민감성과는 유의미한 정적상관이 있었다. 정서조절은 거부민감성과 유의미한 부적상관이 있었다. 둘째, 거부민감성은 아동의 학대 경험과 정서조절을 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 아동의 학대 경험이 거부민감성을 매개로 정서조절에 간접적으로 영향을 미친다는 것을 의미한다. 따라서 학대경험으로 인해 정서조절의 어려움을 겪는 아동을 상담할 때, 상담자는 이들의 거부민감성을 낮추는 상담개입전략을 구사할 필요가 있다. | |
학대가 위험한 이유는 무엇인가? | 학대는 그 자체로 아동에게 치명적인 심리적 문제를 야기한다. 학대는 애착외상으로 작용하여 타인과의 신뢰관계를 형성할 수 있는 능력을 훼손하여 성인기까지 장기적이고 지속적인 영향을 미치며[2], 성장과정에서 학교생활, 학업성취, 또래관계, 범죄 등 여러 가지 적응 및 사회문제를 가져오는 원인으로 작용한다 [3]. 특히 학대 경험은 아동기 거의 모든 정서 및 발달 장애의 원인 또는 선행요인이 된다고 알려져 있으며[4], 정서장애와 부적응 행동에 핵심적인 역할을 담당하는 정서조절 기능에 장애를 초래한다[5, 6, 7]. |
