제안 방법
본 연구에서 사용된 통제변수는 선행연구를 고려하여, 구성된 통제변수는 성별, 건강상태, 가구소득, 부모 최종학력이다. 성별은 남자를 ‘0’으로 여자를 ‘1’로 한다.
또래소외는 Armsden & Greenberg(1987)의 한국아동․청소년패널조사 연구진이 또래애착척도(IPPA)를 번안, 수정한 김지연(1995)[31], 황미경(2010)의 문항을 활용하여 수정·보완한 패널척도를 사용한다[32]. 중복된 문항을 제외한 총 9문항으로 하위영역별 3문항으로 구성된 패널양식 문항(의사소통, 신뢰, 소외)중 또래소외 3문항을 사용하였다. 문항내용은 ‘나는 지금의 친구들 대신 다른 친구들을 사귀고 싶다’, ‘나는 친구들과 함께 있어도 외롭고 혼자라는 느낌이 든다’, ‘친구들은 내가 요즘 어떻게 지내는지 잘 모른다’ 로 구성되어 있다.

공격성 척도는 조붕환과 임경희(2003)가 개발한 척도를 토대로 한국아동․청소년패널조사 연구진이 수정․ 보완한 패널 척도를 사용한다[29]. 이 척도는 총 6문항으로, 문항의 내용은 ‘작은 일에도 트집을 잡을 때가 있다’, ‘남이 하는 일을 방해할 때가 있다’, ‘하루 종일 화를 낼 때가 있다’ 등으로 구성되어 있다.

둘째, 패널조사에서 사용된 문항들을 사용함에 따라서 추가적으로 변인이 충분히 측정되지 못한 한계점이 있다. 따라서, 추후 연구에서는 종단연구를 통하여 우울과 공격성에서 또래소외 매개효과 인과관계를 밝힐 필요가 있으며, 공격성 변인에 있어서 전체, 외현, 내현 세분화 하여 추가분석할 필요가 있다. 또래소외 변인에서도 또래관계에서 직접, 간접 따돌림인지 설문지 등을 통하여 보완할 필요가 있다.
첫째, 본 연구는 횡단연구이기 때문에 우울과 공격성에서 또래소외 매개효과 검증에 있어 시간경과에 따른 인과관계를 규명할 수 없다. 둘째, 패널조사에서 사용된 문항들을 사용함에 따라서 추가적으로 변인이 충분히 측정되지 못한 한계점이 있다.
