Berner[2005]의 보고서에 따르면 대기업은 CSR 활동에 상당한 투자를 하고 있음을 알 수 있다.
CSR 활동은 활동 동기에 대한 의심이적을 때 가장 효과적이라는 점을 통하여 실무자들은 CSR을 어떻게 활용할 수 있나? 둘째, CSR 활동은 활동 동기에 대한 의심이적을 때 가장 효과적이라는 점은 어떤 형식의 CSR 활동을 선택하고 그에 대한 홍보활동을 어떤 식으로 할 것인지에 대한 시사점을 제공해준다. 실무자들은 본 연구의 결과를 통하여 일반적으로 낮은 적합성의 CSR 활동이 소비자들의 보상 추론을 약화시켜서 기업의 품질 지각을 긍정적으로 이끈다는 점을 이용할 수 있을 것이다. 더 나아가 실무자들은 CSR 활동의 적합성이 낮을 때에는 기업 광고보다 중립적인 원천을 사용하여 CSR 활동을 홍보하는 것이 회사 활동의 순수한 활동 의도를 소비자들에게 이해시키는데 더 효과적 일 수 있다는 것을 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
