치과기공계는 어떤 어려움에 처해 있는가? 현재 치과기공계는 치과기공사 개인뿐만 아니라 치과 기공소의 경영과 관련한 제작환경에 대해 많은 어려움에 봉착해 있다(Park & Lee, 2000; O, 2003; Moon, 2009; Kim, 2015; Nam & Lee, 2017). 치과보철물 재제작 시 치과기공소에서 대부분 기공요금을 부담하고 있는 관행으로 인해 치과보철물의 재제작은 치과기공소의 경영악화에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 작용하고 있다 (Moon, 2009; Lee & Cho, 2016; Nam & Lee, 2017).
