외래에서 항암화학요법을 받는 유방암 환자의 수면의 질에 대한 관심이 더욱 필요한 이유는? | 입원을 통한 항암화학요법 시 환자는 불편감이나 부작용에 대한 중재를 즉각적으로 받지만, 이들이 통원 치료 시 의료인의 지지가 없는 가정에 머무는 시간이 대부 분이고[12], 다시 외래에서 항암치료 후 가정에 머무르는 것이 반복되면 ,입원환자에 비해 외래환자의 암 치료와 관련된 증상 조절이 간과될 수 있다. 또한 의료진은 암의 치료에 주요초점을 두고 있어 수면문제를 적절히 다루기 어려우며 외래 항암화학요법을 받는 유방암 환자의 수면의 질은 4분의 3정도에서 낮고 상당수가 수면 문제를 격고 있지만 실제 의사와 상의한 환자는 15%에 불과하였다[7]. 그러므로 외래에서 항암치료를 받는 유방암 환자의 수면의 질에 대한 관심이 더욱 필요하다. |
