연결되지 않을 권리란? 연결되지 않을 권리(right to disconnect)는 비 근무시간에(공식적 업무시간이 끝난 뒤) 직장상사로부터 업무상의 연락과 메시지를 받지 않을 수 있는 권리다[Park, 2017]. 본 연구에서는 연결되지 않을 권리 인식을 퇴근 이후나 휴일에도 모바일 메신저, 이메일, 전화 등으로 직장 또는 직상상사와 강하게 연결됨에 따라 이러한 연결로부터 벗어나 자유롭게 되고자 하는 내적 욕구나 인지로 접근하였다.
