Second, the 'Healthy couple relationship' education for high school students had positive effects on the marriage values of high school students. In S high school, students' perception of marriage values rendered a statistically significant positive change, while in campus-type joint curriculum in Sejong City, no statistical significance was detected. ‘건강한 커플관계’ 교육과정을 실행하기 전과 후에 각각 프로그램의 효과를 측정하는 도구를 활용하여 검사를 실시하였다.

따라서 가정과 교육과정과 수업을 실행한 후 교과 역량이 실제로 함양되었는지를 구체적으로 확인할 수 있는 교과역량을 개발하여 활용한 것에 본 연구의 의의가 있으며, ‘관계형성능력’ 외에 가정과의 다른 교과 역량에 대한 척도 개발 연구가 이루어져서 실제 가정과 교육과정 운영 및 평가에 활용되어야할 것이다.
셋째, 본 연구에서는 2015 개정 실과(기술 ⋅ 가정) 교육과정에 제시된 가정과 교과역량인 관계형성능력의 척도를 개발하여 효과를 살폈다. 후속 연구에서는 관계형성능력 뿐 아니라 생활자립능력, 실천적 문제해결능력의 척도 개발을 통해 교육 과정의 효과를 검증하는 다양한 연구가 이루어져야 하겠다. 이를 통해 가정교과에서 제시하는 교수학습 관련 연구들이 어느 정도 교과역량을 함양시키는지에 대한 실증적인 검토가 필요하다.
