이러닝은 어떤분야인가? | 이러닝(e-Learning)은 자율적인 학습 환경에서 시간과 공간적 제약에 구애받지 않고 풍부한 학습 콘텐츠를 교수자 중심의 강의에서 벗어나 학습자 중심의 자기 주도적 학습이 가능한 교육체제로 IT 인프라의 발달에 기반하여 세계적으로 급성장하고 있는 분야이다[6-9]. 이에 국내의 많은 대학들이 이러닝을 새로 도입하거나 이러닝의 활용규모와 영역을 확장하고 있다[10]. | |
이러닝 이용동기부분에서 한국인 대학생과 중국인 대학생의 차이는 무엇인가? | 첫째, 이러닝 이용동기가 이러닝 만족도에 미치는 영향을 한국인 대학생과 중국인 대학생의 두 그룹에 대해 비교 분석한 결과, 한국인 대학생은 학습시간의 편의성, 학습장소의 편의성, 학습과정의 용이성 그리고 유용성이 모두 이러닝 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 한국인 대학생들은 언제든지 원하는 시간과 장소에서 필요로 하는 학습내용을 반복하여 들을 수 있는 특징때문에 이러닝을 이용한다[15,16,22]는 선행연구의 결과와 일치한다. 반면에 중국인 대학생은 학습시간의 편의성과 학습과정의 용이성만 이러닝 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 앞서 중국인 대학생은 이러닝 학습 시, 스마트폰이나 태블릿 PC 같은 모바일 디바이스는 이용하지 않고 컴퓨터를 이용하여 대부분 학교에서 학습하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 이러닝 시스템의 제한적 플랫폼 환경 때문인 것으로 생각된다. 만약 이러닝 학습이 컴퓨터로만 가능하다면, 학습자가 원하는 장소에서 학습하는 것이 쉽지 않을 것이다. 따라서 중국의 대학들은 학생들이 좀 더 자유롭게 이러닝을 이용할 수 있도록 스마트 디바이스와의 플랫폼 확장이 필요하다고 생각된다. |
