보건소 영양사가 고도의 기술과 전문성을 필요로 하는 이유는 무엇인가? 보건소 영양사는 지역사회의 영양과 식품에 관한 위험요인을 평가하고 영양상태를 조사하여, 영양개선을 위한 계획을 수립하고 관련 교육 및 사업을 통해 질병 예방과 치료를 위한 업무를 수행한다(Cha 등 2008). 이렇듯 지역주민의 건강에 직결되는 보건의료 서비스를 수행하며 국민의 건강을 위한 영양사의 역할은 점차 그 중요성을 더해가고 있으므로 고도의 기술과 전문성을 필요로 한다(Kim 1988). 그러나 국가의 영양사에 대한 인식 부족과 제도 미비로 보건소 영양사의 업무수행이 원활하게 이루어지지 못했다(Kim 1988).
이직의도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 어떻게 구분되는가? 이직은 조직에서 금전적 보상을 받고 구성원의 자격이 종료되는 것으로 정의된다(Mobley1982). 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 개인특성, 직무관련, 외부환경의 세 가지 요인으로 구분된다(Cotton & Tuttle 1986). 학교급식 영양사의 경우 비정규직이거나 나이가 많을수록 이직의도가 높았으며(Cha & Seo 2006), 승무원에서는 결혼 여부와 급여(Chen 2006), 간호사에서는 연령, 교육수준, 근무형태,직무 스트레스, 조직몰입, 직무만족도 등의 요소가 이직의도에 큰 영향을 주었다(Bang 등 2015).
