The purpose of this study is to explore the construct system and revision emphasis of curriculum for early childhood education and care in japan revised in 2017. First, the construct system of the revised early childcare curriculum and kindergarten curriculum of the three institutions in 2017 is different. However, it is more specific according to its characteristics, and the revision focus is given in the same direction. Second, The revised emphasis of the curriculum establish itself with three qualities and abilities that must be nurtured through infancy and clarifies ten childhood images. Also, Emphasis is placed on the establishment of curriculum and management to implement these. Expert review is needed to ensure that the content presented in childhood images is appropriate and does not emphasize the establishment of curriculum and management without ensuring teacher autonomy.

결론적으로 2017년 개정 고시된 3기관의 영유아 교육․보육과정은 구성체계는 다소 차이가 있으나 그 특성에 따라 보다 구체화하였다는 점과 공통적으로 개정중점은 같은 방향에서 제시하고 있다는 점이다. 또한 교육․보육과정에서 제시한 개정중점의 내용이 영유아의 발달에 적합하지 않는 부분이나 교육·보육교사들이 현장에서 적용하기에 어려움이 있다면 그 대안을 모색해야 할 것이다.
둘째, 영유아교육․보육과정의 개정중점은 유아기까지 길러야 할 자질·능력의 정립과 유아상의 명확화, 유아교육기관에서의 커리큘럼·메니지먼트의 확립 등을 강조하고 있다.
먼저, 개정중점에서 요령, 지침, 교육·보육요령 모두에서 동일하게 유아기까지 길러야 할 자질·능력 3가지, 유아상 10가지를 강조하고 있다.
첫째, 생애에 걸쳐 살아갈 힘의 기초를 배양하기 위하여 풍부한 체험을 통해 느끼고, 생각하고, 알아가며, 해낼 수 있도록 하는 ’지식·기능의 기초‘,이며, 둘째, 생각한 것이나 알게 된 것을 사용하여 생각하고 시험하고 탐구하고 표현하는 ’사고력, 판단력, 표현력 등의 기초‘이고, 셋째, 심정, 의욕, 태도가 자라는 가운데 더 나은 생활을 하고자하는 ’배우고자하는 힘, 인간성 등‘이다.

후속연구

따라서 유아교육현장에서는 ‘10가지 유아상’의 문제점을 인식하고, 이러한 문제점이 유아발달에 저해되지 않는 긍정적 방향의 교육·보육이 이루어질 수 있는 방안 탐색이 필요할 것이다.
또한 교육·보육의 질 향상을 위한 교육·보육조건이나 노동조건의 개선을 위한 노력 필요하다고 할 것이다.
또한 교육․보육과정에서 제시한 개정중점의 내용이 영유아의 발달에 적합하지 않는 부분이나 교육·보육교사들이 현장에서 적용하기에 어려움이 있다면 그 대안을 모색해야 할 것이다.
발달에 적합하지 않거나 지시에 따르도록 하는 이러한 내용은 결과적으로 미래의 주역이 될 영유아들에게 부정적인 영향을 미치며, 교육·보육관계자들이 자율적이고 주도적인 교육·보육을 이루어 나아가는데 어려움이 있음을 인지하여 이에 대한 긍정적 방향으로의 모색이 필요하다할 것이다.
