과도한 스마트폰 사 용으로 인해 구강질환이 악화 될 수 있는 이유는? | 이와 같은 맥락에서, 과도한 스마트폰 사용은 인터넷 사용보다 수면 저하, 우울, 불안 등 정신적 문제들을 야기시킬 가능성이 있는데[11,21,26], 이와 같은 정신적 문제는 구강건강에 악영향을 주게 된다[27,28]. 마찬가지로, 청소년의 경우에도 스마트폰 사용은 학교 환경에서 친구들과의 갈등, 비행 증가, 학업 성적의 요인이 될 수 있고, 가정에서는 부모와의 갈등 요인이 될 수 있다[29-31]. 또한 스마트폰 사용으로 인한 과다한 정보 습득은 청소년의 스트레스를 가중시킬 수 있다[32,33]. 이와 같이 스마트폰 사용으로 인한 높은 수준의 스트레스는 면역력 저하를 초래하여 치주염과 같은 구강질환의 위험 요인이 될 수 있다 [11,13,27]. 결과적으로 청소년들의 과도한 스마트폰 사 용과 정신적 취약성은 복합적으로 구강질환의 위험을 가속화시킬 수 있다. |
