우리나라가 인도네시아에서 한국특별세션 ‘Jakarta Fashion Week 2020’ 을 운영하는 이유는 무엇인가? 우리나라는 2019년 10월 한국콘텐츠진흥원의 주관으로 국내 신진 디자이너들의 인도네시아 진출을 지원하기 위해 인도네시아에서 한국특별세션 ‘Jakarta Fashion Week 2020’ 을 운영(Korea Creative Content Agency [KOCCA], 2019a)하였다. 인도네시아 현지 관계자들에게 한국패션의 우수성을 선보이고 패션 산업 교류를 통한 시장 확대를 시도하였다.
인도네시아 비즈니스 포럼에서 우리나라 국가발전의 핵심전략으로 발표한 '신남방정책'의 목적은 무엇인가? 2017년 정부는 한 인도네시아 비즈니스 포럼에서 우리나라 국가발전의 핵심 전략으로 '신남방정책'을 발표했다. 아세안(ASEAN) 국가들과의 협력을 통해 우리 경제 저변을 확대하고 미국 러시아 중국 일본 중심의 외교와 무역에서 4강(미국, 러시아, 중국, 일본) 중심의 외교와 무역에서 벗어나고자 함이다. 패션 산업도 예외는 아니어서 기업들은 새로운 소비시장으로 부상하고 있는 동남아시아 국가들에 관한 관심이 높아지고 있다.
