본 연구는 치과위생사의 여가활용 의지와 직무만족과의 관계를 파악하고 여가활용 의지에 대한 기회의 확대 필요성을 제시하고자 실시하였으며 직무만족 정도는 3.84점이며 여가활용의 의지는 공동체와 교류를 우선하는 것으로 분석되었다. 직무만족, 이직의도 및 여가활용 의지에 대한 상관관계 분석결과 세 항목 모두 강력한 상관관계를 보이며 직무만족이 높으면 여가활용 의지가 높고 이직의도가 낮으며 여가활용 의지가 높으면 직무만족이 높고 이직의도가 낮은 것으로 분석되었다. 직무만족도를 높일 수 있는 방안 수립을 위하여 회귀분석을 실시한 결과 이직의도(β=-0.551), 여가활용(β=0.368), 건강상태(β=0.139), 현재 직장에서의 근무년수(β=0.069), 하루 동안 병원에 방문하는 환자수(β=-0.056) 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되어 이직의도를 낮추고 여가활용 기회의 확대 및 개인의 건강상태와 현재 근무하는 직장의 근무년수를 고려하고 하루 동안 병원을 방문하는 환자수를 고려하여 치과위생사가 처리하는 건수를 적절히 조절하는 등의 방법을 통하여 최적의 근무환경을 제공할 수 있는 방안을 수립 할 필요가 있을 것으로 판단된다.

This study was conducted to identify the relationship between the willingness to leisure activity and job satisfaction of dental hygienists and to suggest the need to expand opportunities for the will to leisure activity. The degree of job satisfaction was 3.84 points, and the willingness to leisure activity was analyzed to prioritize exchange with the community. As a result of the analysis of the correlation between job satisfaction, turnover intention, and willingness to leisure activity, all three items show a strong correlation. If job satisfaction is high, then the willingness to leisure activity is high and the intention to turn over is low, and if the will to leisure activity is high, then job satisfaction is high and turnover intention is low. Results of regression analysis to establish measures to increase job satisfaction, turnover intention (β=-0.551), leisure use (β=0.368), health status (β=0.139), current working years at work (β=0.069), number of patients visiting the hospital during the day (β=-0.056) were analyzed in order of effect. It is judged that there is a need to establish a plan to provide an optimal working environment in consideration of the intention to turnover, leisure activity, health status, working years at work, and the number of patients visiting the hospital during the day.

대상 데이터

치과위생사의 여가활동 의지와 직무만족도의 관계를 파악하기 위하여 실시한 본 연구의 연구대상자는 G 광역시와 M시에 소재한 치과병원에 근무하고 있는 치과위생사이며 이들을 대상으로 2020년 6월 10일부터 2020년 7 월 23일까지 설문조사를 실시하였다.

데이터처리

설문조사 결과를 분석하기 위하여 사용된 통계분석 프로그램은 SPSS(Ver. 22.0)를 이용하였으며 t 검정 (t-test)과 분산분석(one-way ANOVA analysis)을 통하여 개인적 특성에 따른 직무만족, 이직의도 및 여가 활용의 지에 대한 차이를 분석하였다.
직무만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인의 중요도를 판단하기 위하여 직무만족도를 종속변수로 하고 이직의도, 여가 활용 의지, 개인적 상태, 근무환경 등에 관한 변수를 독립변수로 하여 회귀분석을 실시하였다.

성능/효과

응답자의 일반적 특성에 따른 직무만족, 이직의도 및 여가 활용 의지에 대한 수준을 분석한 결과 건강상태가 좋을수록 직무만족도 및 여가활용 의지가 높으며 이직 의도가 낮은 것으로 나타나 건강한 상태 유지에 관심을 가질 필요가 있다.
직무만족도, 여가활용 의지 및 이직의도 수준의 높고 낮음에 따른 각 항목들 사이의 차이에 대한 t 검증결과 직무만족도가 낮으면(Low) 이직의도가 높고 직무만족도가 높으면(High) 여가활용의지가 높은 것으로 분석되었다.
직무만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석을 통하여 직무만족도를 높일 수 있는 방안을 제시하기 위하여 직무만족도를 종속변수로 하고 이직의도, 여가활용 의지, 개인적 상태, 근무환경 등에 관한 변수를 독립변수로 하여 회귀분석을 실시한 결과 이직의도(β=-0.551), 여가활용(β =0.368), 건강상태(β=0.139), 현재 직장에서의 근무년수 (β=0.069), 하루 동안 병원에 방문하는 환자수(β=-0.056) 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.
직무만족도의 하위영역 중 안전시설, 탈의시설 등 근무 지원에 대한 만족도가 가장 높았으며 병원 내에서 업무수행 중 구성원들과의 관계 등 근무여건에 대한 만족도가 가장 낮은 것으로 조사되었으며 여가활용의 경우 여가를 개인발전의 계기보다는 공동체와 교류를 우선하는 것으로 분석되었다.

후속연구

결국 건강상태가 좋을수록 여가활용 의지가 높고 이직 의도가 낮아지며 여가활동에 대한 의지가 높을수록 직무만족도는 높고 이직의도는 낮아지고 직무만족에 이직 의도 및 여가활동 의지가 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되어치과위생사에게 여가활용에 대한 기회의 확대는 병원 경쟁력 향상 및 최상의 의료서비스 제공이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.
이직의도의 경우 건강상태 외에 하루 병원을 방문하는 환자 수가 많고 소규모 병원(치과의원)에 근무할수록 높은 것으로 나타나 환자수를 고려한 근무인원 조정 및 종합병원과 동일한 근무환경을 제공할 수 있는 방안이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.
직무만족에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 이직의도를 낮추고 여가 활용 기회를 확대하고 개인의 건강상태와 현재 근무하는 직장의 근무연수 및 하루 동안 병원을 방문하는 환자 수를 고려하여 치과위생사가 처리하는 건수를 적절히 조절하는 등의 방법을 통하여 최적의 근무환경을 제공할 수 있는 방안을 수립할 필요가 있을 것으로 판단된다.
