대학생의 성취동기와 우울의 관계: 자아존중감의 매개효과

본 연구는 대학생의 성취동기와 우울의 관계, 그리고 이들 관계에서 자아존중감매개효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 Y시 소재 대학교에 재학 중인 대학생 267명의 자료를 수집하였으며, SPSS 22.0과 SPSS PROCESS macro 3.3을 활용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 대학생의 성취동기는 매개변수인 자아존중감에 유의한 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생의 성취동기는 우울에 유의한 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대학생의 성취동기와 우울의 관계에서 매개변수인 자아존중감은 우울에 유의한 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타난 반면, 성취동기는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 볼 때 대학생의 성취동기가 우울에 미치는 영향에서 이를 자아존중감이 완전매개하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구결과를 기초로 하여 본 연구의 함의 및 제한점을 논의하였고, 대학생에 대한 지원방안과 후속연구에 대해 제언하였다.
