본 연구는 독서교육종합지원시스템이 제공하는 전자책 구성의 문제점을 파악하고 교육자원으로서 학교도서관 전자책 구축과 관련한 서비스 개선방안을 사서교사들이 경험하는 실질적인 이슈와 인식을 바탕으로 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 방법으로 학교도서관의 독서교육 플랫폼으로서 부산 종합독서교육지원시스템이 지원하는 전자책 3,002종의 장서 구성을 한국십진분류표를 기준으로 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 부산 초등 사서교사 4명과 중등 사서교사 5명을 대상으로 2차에 걸친 포커스그룹 인터뷰(FGI)를 진행하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 교육자원으로서 전자책을 활용하여 학생들의 독서활동을 지원하고 학교도서관의 효율적인 전자책 장서구성을 이루기 위한 기초자료로서 활용될 수 있다.
