특권의식이 데이트 관계에서의 통제행동에 미치는 영향: 사회지배경향성과 사회비교경향성을 중심으로

최근 들어 데이트 폭력의 심각성이 사회적 문제로 부각되고 있으나, 데이트 폭력 유형 가운데 통제행동에 관한 연구는 매우 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 특권의식과 통제행동 간의 관계를 살펴보고, 특권의식이 통제행동에 미치는 영향에서 사회지배경향성과 사회비교경향성의 매개효과가 있는지 알아보았다. 또한, 성차가 있는 것으로 알려진 사회지배경향성의 경우, 특권의식과 통제행동 간의 관계에서 성별에 따라 매개효과가 다르게 나타나는지를 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 특권의식이 높을수록 사회지배경향성 및 사회비교경향성이 강하며, 통제행동을 더 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다. 더불어, 사회지배경향성 및 사회비교경향성 이 강할수록 통제행동을 더 많이 하였다. 특권의식이 통제행동에 미치는 영향에서 사회지배경향성이 완전 매개역할을 하였다. 또한, 특권의식과 통제행동 간의 관계에서 사회비교경향성의 하위요인 중 하나인 능력비교경향성이 완전매개역할을 하였다. 더불어, 특권의식이 사회지배경향성을 매개로 통제행동에 미치는 영향이 성별에 따라 조절되었다. 즉, 특권의식과 통제행동 간의 관계에서 남성의 경우에는 사회지배경향성의 매개효과가 유의하였으나, 여성의 경우에는 유의하지 않았다. 본 연구의 한계점을 논의하고 후속연구에 대해 제안하였다.
