본 연구의 목적은 유아교사 280명을 대상으로 유아교사들의 삶의 질에 영향을 미칠 변수로 셀프리더십, 행복감, 직무만족도를 예측하고, 유아교사의 셀프리더십이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향에 있어 행복감이 매개역할을 하는지에 대해 알아보는 것이다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아교사의 셀프리더십, 직무만족도, 행복감의 인식 정도를 살펴본 결과, 셀프리더십, 직무만족도, 행복감 순으로 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 유아교사의 셀프리더십, 직무만족도, 행복감 간의 상관관계를 살펴본 결과, 세 변인간의 정적 상관이 보였다. 셋째, 유아교사의 행복감은 셀프리더십과 직무만족도를 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 유아교사의 직무만족도를 높이기 위한 다양한 방안들을 모색하며, 유아교육의 질 향상을 위한 교사교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.
