본 연구는 감각적 읽기 매체를 활용한 만2세 그림책 읽기 경험이 영아에게 어떤 의미가 있는지를 분석하여 의미있는 읽기를 통한 언어능력 지원 방안을 제안하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 위해 만35개월 남아를 선정하였고, 자료수집은 가정에서의 참여관찰 및 현장기록노트 중심으로 이루어졌으며 질적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구에서는 2021년 3월 20일부터 4월 30일까지 약 2개월간 연구대상이 그림책을 탐색하며 놀이하는 시간을 모두 녹화하여 자료를 수집하였다. 녹화 시간은 약 20시간이고 수집된 자료를 및 현장기록을 전사한 자료는 A4 용지 108페이지이다, 연구결과는 만2세 영아의 감각적 읽기 매체를 활용하여 그림책 읽기 경험을 통해 새로운 매체를 탐색하기, 비슷한 매체와 비교 탐색하기, 매체를 활용한 그림책 읽기에 몰입이 흐름이 나타났으며. 또한 스스로 책을 선택하고 읽는 주도적 읽기의 출현, 읽기 매체를 활용한 탐색, 일상생활 속 그림책과 연계된 놀이로 변화되어가는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이는 감각적 읽기 매체를 활용한 만2세의 그림책 읽기 경험이 영아의 읽기 경험에 유의미함을 시사하는 결과로 볼 수 있다.
