본 연구에서는 RDA의 LRM 수용방식을 분석하여 도서관 관련 다양한 표준 및 시스템에서 LRM 적용시 고려사항을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 LRM과 RDA 2020을 개체, 관계, 속성, 인코딩스킴 측면에서 분석하였다. 우선, 개체, 관계, 속성의 매핑을 위해 RDA의 개체별로 속성과 관계를 모두 추출하여, 각 속성과 관계별로 해당하는 LRM 요소를 찾아 매핑하였고, 추가적으로 인코딩스킴도 함께 비교하였다. 결과적으로 LRM을 적용하려는 표준 및 시스템에서 고려할 사항은 첫째, LRM의 계층구조를 고려한 개체 개발, 둘째, 새로운 관계나 지름길 관계 개발, 셋째, 계층구조를 고려하여 개체에 맞는 속성의 세분화, 넷째, 다양한 인코딩스킴의 개발이다. 본 연구는 LRM을 수용하려는 표준이나 시스템에서 자체적인 LRM 적용방안을 모색하는데 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
